Any 1 who has hosted a wedding at the River Room Restaurant in Riverbank State Park in NYC, was it worthwhile?

I want to have my wedding reception there but the banquet managers suck, they haven't tried to help set up an appointment to meet with them to discuss anything! The view you get is amazing but if the service sucks I would like to know beforehand...has anyone hosted anything or attended an event there?? Your istance in this manner would be greatly appreciated!!
