Some questions about Dawn of War II.?

Just a few questions regarding Dawn of War II and its Mature rating by the ESRB: First of all, and most importantly, is there a way to turn off the blood and gore? I am fourteen and believe I am old enough to handle a bit of violence, but my parents wouldn't even consider letting me buy the game if you can't turn off the blood and gore. Secondly - it is rated for violence (simply for being a war game) and blood and gore. Is there much of anything else in the game that should deter a teen from playing it? Thanks.
